about me

My inspiration comes from the Essex landscape where I live.  In particular, the marshes, water and farmland that change dramatically with the tides and seasons.

My paintings are partly abstract with a vivid use of colour and bold palette knife strokes.

I am fascinated by shape and pattern, particularly in shells, stones and natural materials which influence my abstract collages and mixed media pieces.
